The NCSHRM State Council recognizes North Carolina Human Resources Professionals for their outstanding lifetime accomplishments and/or contributions. This award is given in recognition of their service to the HR profession, leadership in the business community, and service to the civic community.

Criteria
Nominees must be (or have been) employed or primarily conduct business in the state of North Carolina Nominees must be or have been employed as an HR Professional for at least 20 years, including current and past employers, years of service and position(s) held. They should have demonstrated outstanding accomplishments and/or contributions which represent a lifetime of achievement, regardless of age. Examples may include, but not limited to:
- Service to the HR Profession
- Professional Leadership to the HR Profession
- Credentials (degrees and/or certifications)
- Leadership in the Business Community
- Service to the Civic Community
- Awards and Recognition
- Is not required to be an active NCSHRM Chapter Affiliated Member or National SHRM Member
- May be living or deceased
