Community Resiliency Model®(CRM)

Presented by: Lauren Clark, MSW, CCM

Jesse Hardin, MA, PCMH CCE

The Community Resiliency Model (CRM), is a groundbreaking wellness initiative providing a non-judgmental perspective on human reactions to stress/trauma.  The goal is to reset the system's natural balance. CRM skills help people understand their nervous system.  CRM is working to help create 'trauma informed' and 'resiliency informed' and focused communities that share a common understanding of effects of trauma and the human capacity for resilience.

Where: Onslow County Government Center

234 NW Corridor Blvd

Feed NC 2019 Drive

Dear Friends,

In central and eastern North Carolina, nearly 630,000 individuals (about 16% of the total population), working families, children and seniors struggle to access nutritious and adequate amounts of food necessary for an active and healthy life.

LCFHRA just launched a Virtual Food Drive with the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. The Food Bank has a tremendous network of food pantries, shelters, and soup kitchens and provides over 70 million pounds of food each year to our neighbors in need. For every dollar donated, the Food Bank can provide $10 worth of food or 5 meals!

Our goal is to raise $5,000 through the virtual food drive and other means.

When you visit our page, you’ll have the opportunity to virtually shop the aisles and select items to add to your cart, or you choose to donate without shopping. You can find our page at the link below.

Thank you so very much for considering to support our efforts to help end hunger in our communities. We deeply appreciate your partnership.
