By leveraging our unique cognitive capacities—the ones that only humans possess—, we can create new value in the workplace, where machines and technology are actually not our enemies. After all, Artificial Intelligence is still artificial and humanity will prevail us as masters of a technological world.
About Our Speaker:
Dr. Richards oversees Northeastern University Charlotte which offers more than 50 programs including bachelors, masters, doctorates and certificates. She recently launched the university’s Corporate Talent Solutions providing customized solutions for employee learning & professional development.
She is a recognized community leader serving multiple terms on the Charlotte Chamber’s Executive Committee and currently is on the boards of Apparo, Smart Start of Mecklenburg County, Patriots Path and Progressive AE. Past board involvement includes MeckEd, Charlotte Regional Partnership, Women United, and Women Executives.
Dr. Richards has been honored as a Most Admired CEO, Smart CEO’s Brava Award, twice as one of Charlotte’s 50 Most Influential Women and in 2014 was named Woman of the Year. The Charlotte Business Journal has recognized her as a 40 Under Forty leader and a Top 25 Women in Business. A frequent presenter and speaker, she has guest hosted Carolina Business Review and appeared in BizWomen’s national webcast.
