Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification for Human Resources Professionals

Participants will learn the terminology, tools, and techniques of Lean Six Sigma (LSS). This training includes key Lean tools that the participants will be able to take back and apply to their organizations to improve efficiency and remove waste. Upon successfully completion of the course material and passing of the course exam; participants will receive a Lean Six Sigma White Belt certification from Alamance Community College.

Laura Hirko, PMP, LSS Master Black Belt
Laura has 11 years of industry experience as an electrical engineer, software developer and project manager. She has served as a mentor for Lean Six Sigma Green and Black Belts on their certification projects. Laura has her BS in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic University and her MS in Computer Engineering from NC State University. She also holds a master’s certificate in project management from George Washington University and Stanford University. She earned her Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification in 2001 and her Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt from NC State in 2017.
